Six Higgsfield Studio films compared by how their prompts are written
A side-by-side look at the six public projects from @higgsfield.studio, measuring which prompt conventions each one uses, from character anchoring and acting notes to lens data and texture.
The six public projects of @higgsfield.studio, collected in full: 19,449 unique prompts across 127,054 generations.

¹ Cully Hill is the only sampled project (5 prompts per scene plus anchors). It has about 45,000 unique prompts, and downloading all of them would be about 540 MB. The other five are complete.
Units: a submission is one prompt sent. Higgsfield reports generations as each video produced, 2 to 4 per submission (ONEIRIC: 41,096 against 11,544 submissions). It is the same coverage in a different unit, not a gap.
The briefs
The synopsis the studio published for each film. It helps to read the prompts knowing what film they were trying to make:
- HELL GRIND (95m) — "ROKO, JAXX, LULU and REIN — four street kids with nothing to lose. One day, one museum, one plan — until it all falls apart when, right in the exhibition hall, they find an artifact with no name and no history."
- Cully Hill Boys (115m) — "an action-comedy that follows three underachieving London rappers who, in an attempt to make a name for themselves, accidentally get caught in a messy drug war."
- ONEIRIC (20m) — "Four college students in a dorm discuss the news: Oneiric's technology can plug your brain into any time and place... Each fantasy plays out as its own genre vignette."
- Adiliada (6m) — "A pitch-black sci-fi comedy about love, betrayal, and, above all, death... every time he dies, he's reborn in a new universe."
- ZEPHYR — "Cuties on duty! A squad of glamorous female heroes is saving their hometown from alien bug invasion."
Two things the brief explains that the prompts alone do not:
ONEIRIC has three dialects because each fantasy is a different genre: the Trojan War, space opera, fairy tale. This is not sloppiness. The film is built as genre vignettes.
Adiliada is a 6-minute short, and yet 55% of its prompts are the title sequence. The brief makes this readable: it is a pilot or proof of concept, and the title is the calling card.
How to read these tables
- They measure presence: the percentage of that project's video prompts that contain the convention. They do not measure how insistently it is used inside the prompt.
- The patterns are bilingual EN+ZH. Without that, ZEPHYR showed 0% on almost everything simply because it is written in Chinese.
- The maximum of each row is in bold.
- A 0% can mean "they do not use it" or "they write it differently". Where the difference matters it is explained below.

What each project is
hell-grind is the biggest and the most technical: a 90-minute feature. Median prompt length is 7,141 characters (up to 24,000), with EN and ZH mixed inside the same prompt. It is the only one that names real lens models (Laowa Cine 12mm T2.9 Zero-D + Lensbaby Twist 60, 5%), cites cinematographers as a style anchor (68%, Lubezki and Deakins), declares fps plus shutter (70%) and closes with a list of prohibitions in Chinese (禁则: 禁3D/CG、禁霓虹、禁桶形畸变…). Its rules are called MANDATE (SNOW PHYSICS MANDATE, CAMERA MANDATE) and it uses EXACT 3 CHARACTERS as its own block.
cully-hill-boys is the most orthodox. It has 16 fixed blocks, USE FOR: / IGNORE: to split each reference, coordinates like x≈42%, y≈68%, field of view in degrees, 180-degree shutter, and the 60:30:10 palette in 64%. It is the only one that directs actor micro-behavior (blinking 51%).
oneiric is the one with GLOBAL LOCKS that have a declared priority (— GLOBAL LOCKS (READ FIRST, ABSOLUTE) —), physics written prop by prop, and blocking maps: schematic diagrams generated with image models and used as composition references for the video.
adiliada is the most metric. LENS LOCK with degrees of field of view, meters of height, meters of offset and degrees of tilt, shot by shot. And the closed count (Exactly twelve people exist in the whole clip) in 87%, against the failure where the model multiplies people and teleports props. 55% of the project is the title sequence: graphic design, not cinema.
zephyr is prompted in Chinese, with short prompts (median 408 characters) anchored almost entirely to attached images (<<<image_N>>> 78%, library 3%). Its look is requested with three repeated phrases: 变形镜头 (anamorphic, 84%), 照片级写实 (photorealistic, 80%) and 非3D动画 (not 3D animation, 69%). It is the leanest of the six, with almost none of the long conventions of the others.
zephyr-special has 2 folders, but it is the densest in texture: pores and skin micro-texture in 58% (the highest of the six) and grain in 83%.
What the six share
- Higgsfield's reference system is an ontology of assets:
character, environment, prop(and theirauto:variants). There is no style category in any of the six projects, across 41,092 attached references. The look is always written out. - Two reference channels, and each project picks its own mix:
<<<uuid>>>(library asset, identity) and<<<image_N>>>(attached image, composition and framing). Cully Hill lives on the first (99% / 9%); zephyr and adiliada on the second (78% and 62%). - Negative audio closing —
no music, no subtitles/无音乐,仅音效(no music, sound effects only) — in 73-87% of five of the six. - Rules with their own names:
LOCKin Cully Hill and ONEIRIC,MANDATEandSTRICTin hell-grind. A named rule can be reinforced later without rewriting the paragraph.
